Lean Reduction for AI-native Operation

The world is rushing on more powerful AI and more sophisticated systems for harnessing. We argue the main bottleneck of deploying a useful AI is the end-consumer’s mistaken perception. A useful AI is usually perceived by end-consumers to be an assistant to finish some work faster by avoiding cognitive thinking. We argue a useful AI emerges when a human decides to tackle a higher-cognitive problem, delegating well-governed subroutines. When a human thinks with structured toolkit and well-organized principles, AI emerges as a natural consequence. We propose a new human-centered methodological framework for AI adoption. It is named Lean Reduction following the same idea of Lean Startup but on a different direction: Reducing the world’s complexity to organized order.
